Have a muscle or tendon problem? Try our version of “shockwave” therapy to get rid of it for good.
Myofascial Acoustic Compression Therapy (MyACT) is widely used in the treatment of acute and chronic pain in muscles, tendons and joints.
The acoustic waves generated by the PiezoWave2 converge at a point deep within the soft tissue to produce an intense, extremely short duration compression, leading to increased circulation, tissue healing and pain relief.
…Best of all, you will not have to stop what you are doing with the treatment. There is no need for recovery or down-time after your session.
How It Works
Depending on the area of injury, the therapist will use a specific spacer on the head of the PiezoWave2 so the compressive wave is focused to the precise depth needed to stimulate the target tissues.
The treatment time is 15-20 minutes, where the therapist will move the shockwave wand over the injured area, stopping when you report a dull, aching sensation. As the treatment continues, this sensation will reduce and we will repeat this process to identify other areas needing attention.
Treatments are performed every 3-5 days and clients typically require 3-6 visits for optimal results.
Myofascial Acoustic Therapy does wonders for chronic issues, such as:
